About the 2020 Chapter President: Jeff Adelman
Updated: Mar 16, 2020
Jeff’s mission during his tenure as ABOTA Fort Lauderdale’s President is to reconnect the legal community through putting together events that not only are enjoyable, but worthwhile professionally to chapter members.
By promoting stronger relationships between the judiciary, the Plaintiff’s Bar, and the Defense Bar, it will foster a better legal community for everyone, and this benefits the public. Jeff also feels deeply indebted to those who mentored him, and promotes the value of helping younger lawyers whenever he can.
Jeff is a Florida Bar Board Certified Civil Trial Lawyer, representing injured people, and is the President of Adelman Injury Law. Jeff grew up in a lawyer family, and worked with his father, Larry Adelman until Larry’s retirement in 2016.
He is a proud member of the Coral Springs community for 35 years, and graduated from Coral Springs High School. Jeff attended college at the Florida State University and attended law school at Nova Southeastern University.
Jeff produces two legal podcasts available on Apple Podcasts and the other podcast platforms called “Questions For Lawyers” and “Florida Injury Claims.”
When not doing lawyer things, Jeff enjoys watching hockey, reading, and spending time with his two sons, Benjamin (14) and Jacob (11), and his wife, Jessica.
